CLASSIC COATING GUNS
GRACO classical coating guns have an atomization quality that suits its reputation in the world. Its models with reservoirs at the top and bottom are used in the sectors, where especially surface quality is important, such as the sectors of auto coating and of furniture.
And where coating consumption is much and change of color is less frequent, the pressured models of these guns are preferred.
The opportunity of selecting a wide range of nozzle diameters between 0.7 mm and 2.8 mm is available in both the types with reservoir and pressure-fed type guns.
COMPLIANT COATING GUNS
It is a new atomization and coating technique. In this system, the coating atomization is provided with high air flow rate and low air pressure. In this way, the coating efficiency is minimum 20% more than that of the classical guns.
GRACO ELECTROSTATIC COATING SYSTEMS
The basic principle of electrostatic coating is that; high voltage is loaded to the coating, and the material to be coating is earthed, and by this means, the coating particles are enabled to bond onto the surface.
The primary advantage of electrostatic coating system is its high transfer efficiency. In some systems, high transfer efficiency in excess of 90% is provided by use of a disk.
Thanks to its electrostatic coating feature called ‘enwrapping’, some coating particles are magnetized by the back surface of the work part , and in this way, a higher transfer efficiency is provided. The increased transfer efficiency reduces the removal costs of the wastes discharged to the environment as well as the solvent vapor; and besides, it reduces the cleaning and maintenance requirements of the facility.
